Target Price or List Price

ScoutIQ analyzes multiple variables to help you select a realistic Target Price – including visible Prime prices, all Used prices, the Used Buy Box, Amazon's price, and the book's eScore. This price is highlighted in orange on the Standard Scout Screen and appears on the upper left side of the Scout Lite Screen:

  

Target Price is tappable, and tapping any offer on your scout screen allows you to see how various prices affect your estimated profit based on the number tapped. However, we recommend using the Target Price preselected by your triggers since the Target Price is designed by our default trigger set to choose the most profitable price for which you can reasonably expect the item to sell. Target Price is the price used to determine whether a book meets your desired profit threshold—known as the "Target Profit" after all fees have been factored in. You can tap the Profit number to view the Profit Calculator and learn more about which fees are factored in and which aren't. In simple terms, the Target Price is the selling price the app uses to decide if a book is worth accepting. Books that meet target profit will show as "Accept." and those that do not will show as "Reject."
